OREH: Online Registratie Export Handelaren
With the Online Registratie Export Handelaren (OREH) authorisation you can register vehicles for export. We can help you apply for this authorisation. Additionally, we offer you the option to insure these vehicles online for a period of 14 days.
What is OREH?
When you have sold a vehicle to a client outside the Netherlands, you can use the OREH authorisation to register this vehicle for export. This means that the licence plate will be deregistered in the Netherlands. The RDW will then issue a licence plate for 14 days, provided that the vehicle has a valid technical inspection certificate. With OREH, you can take care of this process online, straight from your company inventory.
Driving to the destination country
When the vehicle you sold is to be driven to its destination country, it can be supplied with a licence plate that is valid for a period of 14 days. The old yellow licence plate is replaced by a white plate with black letters and the same licence plate combination. Your client can then drive the vehicle to the destination country, provided that the vehicle is properly insured.
Insurance via OREH
Using our online application, you can take care of the 14-day insurance with a single press of a button. To generate the green card, the information about the vehicle and the client is automatically taken from the OREH transaction. You can then print the green card yourself.
You can use our online application for your OREH registrations. We can also help you apply for the OREH authorisation with the RDW. Contact us for more information about the possibilities and our sharp rates.
