AEO-certificate for Cargo International
Since May 6th, 2019, Cargo International has had the AEO-certificate Customs (Authorized Economic Operator). Following a rigorous procedure, the Customs Union awarded Cargo the C (customs simplification) certification. The AEO-certificate is a European recognition. In America, the C-TPAT program is comparable to the AEO-certificate. There is mutual recognition of the certificates, which means that trade between the two can also bring considerable benefits.
The AEO-certification has major advantages for Cargo International and therefore also for Cargo’s relations, such as:
- Fewer physical and document checks;
- Priority for inspection if Cargo is selected for inspection.
