EU-A Customs document

There are also a number of countries within Europe where a customs document is needed because they are not part of the European Union. On this page we provide an overview of the countries concerned and you can request your document directly here.

About the EU-A document

With the customs document (EU-A), or the customs export declaration, you can prove that the goods have left the EU. It is proof of export, the Confirmation of Exit. With this proof you show that you have correctly invoiced 0% VAT.

The document is required for exporting to one of the following countries

  • The EFTA coutries:
    • Switzerland (EFTA)
    • Norway (EFTA)
    • Liechtenstein (EFTA)
    • Iceland (EFTA)
  • United Kingdom
  • Turkey
  • Macedonia
  • Serbia
  • Andorra
  • San Marino
