Shipping a container

You can use a container to cheaply and safely ship your goods. Containers come in various sizes, and a distinction is made between full containers (FCL) and partial shipments (LCL). We can ship containers to virtually every destination across the globe.

Full container load (FCL)

If you have enough goods to fill an entire container, it is best to book a full container. This is known as an FCL (Full Container Load). The three most common dimensions of these containers are 20 ft., 40 ft. and 40 ft. HC. Containers can also be refrigerated; these are so-called “reefers.” We offer you the option to rent or buy a container. We will ensure that your container is at its point of loading on time, and we will handle transport to and from the port.

Partial shipment (LCL)

If you do not need a full container, it might be cheaper to book a partial shipment. This is known as LCL (Less Than Container Load). With LCL transport, shipments from various parties are combined to fill up one container. If your shipment takes up more than half a container, it is often cheaper to book a full container. The cost of the shipment is determined by volume and weight.

Shipping cars and motor bikes

If you want to make sure that your car or motor bike is safely stored during international transport, you can decide to have it shipped in a container.

Customs and export documents

You will need a customs document for transport. In some cases, you will also need other export documents. We can draw up the necessary documentation for your transport, as well as insurance for the shipment, so you will not have to worry about your goods.

Exporting used electrical or electronic devices

We would like to inform you about the way you have to ship used electrical or electronic equipment. The Environment and Transport Inspection has clearly stated the guidelines in a booklet. Download the English manuel here.
